Krishna convinces His father Nanda Maharaja that instead of worshipping Lord Indra they better worship the Govardhan hill, and after the festival Lord Indra got angry and sends torrents of rain down, and wind.

Krishna simply lifting Govardhan hill and the inhabitants seek shelter and gather around Krishna. After seven days Indra realizes his mistake and brings his prayers to Krishna.
