Description
Bhaktivinod’s commentary to the Bhagavad-gita is also known as Rasika Ranjana, it was written originally in Bengali, based on the commentary of Srila Visvanatha Chakravarti Thakura, who was a stout follower of Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu.
In his introduction Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura writes that devotional service alone is the goal, and unalloyed devotional service is independent and devoid of the tinge of karma or jnana.
At the end of the book is appended the Gita-mahatmya with its seven verses with English translation.
