In this volume of Garga Samhita we can see how Narada visits Kamsa and reveals to him the truth surrounding Krishna’s advent and the truth about his real father,Drumila, who assumed the form of Ugrasena and how he violated Padmavati, his wife. Kamsa subsequently starts all preparations for the wrestling match. Kamsa speaks with the elephant trainer and also announces to Akrura how he plans to kill Krishna and conquer everyone with his demoniac friends. He sends Akrura to Vrindavan to bring Krishna to Mathura. Akrura is happy to go and see his family there and reunites happily with Krishna and Balaram and takes them to Mathura. The residents of Vrindavan, especially the Gopis are in agony and cannot live without Krishna. Akrura witnesses the glory of Krishna’s dealings with the Gopis and also Kamsa’s washerman, the weaver, the florist, Kubja, how he breaks the bow of Parashurama,how he kills Kuvalayadipa,the elephant etc. Upon entering Mathura and coming into the wrestling arena, they fist fight with Canura and Mustika and all other wrestlers. Kamsa cannot tolerate this defeat and he himself enters the arena, where he meets his last end in the hands of Krishna. Everybody rejoices and Krsna performs the last funeral rites for Kamsa.
