Description
Laghu-bhāgavatāmṛta is a Gauḍiya Vaiṣṇava theological work written by Rūpa Gosvāmī. He calls this text as an abbreviated version of Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta, which was written by Sanatana Gosvāmī, the elder brother of Rūpa Gosvāmī. In this work, he gives detailed explanations of various forms of Kṛṣna, his expansions as Puruṣāvatāras, various Līlāvatāras, and different Manvantarāvatāras. Also, he establishes the supremacy of Kṛṣna over other forms of the Lord, providing substantial proofs from scriptures, and refutes opposing theories and interpretations. Then he describes various ideal devotees possessing different rasas for the Lord and grades them, ultimately showing the superiority of Gopīs over others.Laghu-bhāgavatāmṛta is a Gauḍiya Vaiṣṇava theological work written by Rūpa Gosvāmī.
