In October 2006, ISKCON Cinema released the first DVD in the digitally restored set entitled “Following Srila Prabhupada”. The films are presented chronologically, beginning with the first film of Srila Prabhupada at Dr. Misra’s Ananda Ashram, and ending with his last days in Vrindavan. There are three audio tracks, which include a kirtan and live audio track, a lecture track and a remembrances track with commentary of those who appear in the films. Included in the set will be several newly discovered films of Srila Prabhupada in Germany, Italy, Mayapur, Sweden, Detroit and Los Angeles.

DVD CONTENTS

DVD 1 – Films from October 1965 to July 1970
Highlights: The first film of Srila Prabhupada in the west at Dr. Misra’s Ananda Ashram, “Matchless Gifts” with Srila Prabhupada chanting in Thomkins Square Park, Hippy Hill kirtan in San Francisco, plus films from Boston , New Jersey, New York, Berkeley, Los Angeles, Montreal and London.

DVD 2 – Films from July 1970 to March 1971
Highlights: Includes the first 3 cart Rathayatra in San Francisco in 1970,
