Dhruva being rejected by his stepmother to be allowed to sit on his father’s lap, King Uttanapada, Dhruva is getting very sad. By advice of his mother Dhruva goes to the forest for meditation. Narada Muni comes and gives him instructions of how to do penance to achieve the mercy of the Lord.
