Description
In Bengal, India, five centuries ago, Lord Chaitanya taught Krishna consciousness and Bhakti yoga. Since then, many great devotees have lived and taught Krishna consciousness in Bengal, continuing Lord Chaitanya’s mission.
This book chronicles the lives of twenty-five Vaishnavas who lived in Bengal over the last two hundred years. These devotees spent their lives in service to Krishna and His devotees. Some of the devotees are well known, such as Sri Jagannatha Dasa Bhabaji, Sri Gaurakishora Dasa Babaji, and Sri Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati; others are less well know. Each brief look into the lives of these great saints and scholars can offer inspiration in devotional service.
